ABOUT SAINT ANTHONY SCHOOL OF LOS BAÑOS

Saint Francis of Assisi College- Los Baños Campus was established in 1986, and it was located at Lumang Sabungan, Maahas Los Baños, Laguna. Its primary goal is to provide affordable quality education for young children

In 1996 SFAC Los Baños Campus was transferred to its new site located at Jardin Leonila Subdivision, Maahas, Los Baños, Laguna. Twelve classrooms were constructed to meet the surrounding community’s needs. From then on, we continue to value the trust of our institution we had successfully worked hand in hand in providing countless opportunities for our young learner’s holistic development.

In 2010, the SFAC Los Baños Campus was renamed as Saint Anthony School of Los Baños (SAS-LB). It was  named after the patron saint of the locality. As the years went by, we are continuously reaching more students in the community to give them the same opportunity for academic development , arts and culture excellence, and sports distinction.. In 2017, a two- story academic building was constructed to cater the junior & senior high school students.

Dr. Arturo O. Orosco Jr., succeeding his mother as school president in 2011, steered the school system into a brand where Bayanihan spirit cultivates the deep heritage of the school. Bold moves and decisions are incessantly being made to meet the new leadership’s branding innovations and to meet the founders’ objective of serving more members of the youth in our community.

Today, the Saint Anthony School of Los Baños Campus  offers complete education from preschool to Senior High School under the supervision and management of Saint Francis of Assisi College (SFAC).

In its more than two decades of existence, SAS LB as recognized by the Department of Education (DepEd), has pursued programs of instruction grounded on academic, cultural and sports  excellence and tempered by Christian and Franciscan values exemplified by its patrons, Saint Anthony de Padua & Saint Francis of Assisi.

A rich and responsive curriculum, a corps of well-trained, experienced and caring teachers, dynamic    administrators, and  an atmosphere conducive to excellence — all make up the lifelong learning experience at SAS.

To keep abreast with the rapid growth and changes in the educational trends in the country and elsewhere, SAS & SFAC established its Center for Excellence in Academics, Research and Training Services (Centrex) which  serves as the standard-setting entity of its academic operations. Committed in providing a value-laden, excellent education, the Centrex focuses on seven (7) areas: Curriculum Development, Textbook Evaluation, Institutional Examinations, Review of Academic Policies and Procedures, Faculty Training and Ranking, Organization/Leadership Development, and Institutional Research. The Centrex ensures that uniform standards are observed and maintained in all SFAC campuses. Aside from the Centrex, a Central Office (C.O.) and a Central Purchasing (C.P.) unit likewise guarantee the operational stability of SAS for the benefit of its employees, suppliers, students and other stakeholders.
